Malzac Crest interpetation

From d'Amorial D'Hozier I've been able to find my family's ancestrial crest.  Although I am by no means an authority in this matter can anyone tell me what this is likely to mean besides the symbolism?

  Sword/Dagger/Dart:  Justice and military honour
  Red (Gules) Warrior or martyr: Military strength and magnanimity
  Blue (Azure) Truth and loyalty
  (five-pointed star)  Rule and authority
  Gold  Divine quality from above; mark of third son
