He married Mary Durand [the Durands were from the same general area... Hautes Pyrenees.
He had emigrated by 1879.

Bonjour!
J'ai plusieurs Arros dans mon arbre généalogique. Tous sont des hongrois de Transylvanie. Est-ce que cette branche vous intéresse?

Good morning,
I looked at the archives of the département du Gers.
This départment is among the last one to display on-line old registers. Therefore we have to wait until end of 2019 or up to 2021 to be able to see them.
---------------------------------------
However, some decennial tables and census list of Villecomtal are available.
These findings have to be confirmed when the whole document are displayed.
A Baptiste Auguste LAPEYRONIE can be seen, born in 1851. Is this age consistent with other documents you have (such as wedding, death?)

good morning again
As the "departement du Gers" was slow in displaying old acts, an association did some listing job to help genealogists
https://pnds.genealogie32.net
We have confirmation that the parents of this Baptiste Auguste Lapeyronie are Jean-Baptiste Lapeyronie and Pierre Navarre.
One can guess also the names of the grand-parents. but for now, it's not certain
