On Geneanet, you can sponsor a friend or family member, and get a Premium extra month free!

Click 'Community > Sponsr a friend' in the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Enter the Geneanet username of the persons you want to sponsor (click here to search the username of a member by name).

When having sent 5 invitations, you must wait for them to be accepted or to expire (45 days) to gain new sponsor rights.

Sponsored persons will be invited to try the Geneanet Premium free for one month.

If they subscribe to the Premium during the free trial, the remaining free weeks will be added to their 1-year or 2-year membership, and you will get an extra month free!

Join the GeneaGraves project! It's free and easy!

Upload your pictures to Geneanet with a wifi access point. Then, index the name of the persons listed on the gravestones with the help of other Geneanet members.

New On Your Family Tree: Add Family Pictures With The Geneanet Mobile App

You can now add family pictures on your family tree with the Geneanet mobile app.

At a family reunion, take pictures of your parents, siblings, children, grandchildren, etc. and immediately add them to your family tree.

Or, select a picture from your mobile gallery, Dropbox or Google Drive.

Your family tree and your pictures are automatically synced with your account on Geneanet.org.

With the Geneanet mobile app, show your family tree and pictures to your family and friends at any time, wherever you are!

This option is free, as usual.

As promised, some new, simple and effective services now come with the new version of Geneanet to help you grow your family tree.

On Geneanet, you can upload family pictures, archival records, indexes, pictures of headstones and memorials, family letters, postcards, coats of arms, and much more.

A new page is now available to view, edit and add all of your archival documents and pictures.

We are happy to announce that we have reached the milestone of 2 billion indexed individuals on Geneanet!

It took almost 16 years to reach the milestone of one billion individuals, and only 2 years to index one billion more individuals.

This is a new step: Geneanet becomes more and more useful and efficient for your genealogy research.

That show our involvement in the free and collaborative genealogy: On Geneanet, you can create your family tree, search your ancestors and share with other members. The Premium Membership offers access to additional Geneanet services and options.

This powerful feature is reserved for GeneaNet Club Privilege members.

Other GeneaNet members can search for 'Individual Matches' in the Archival Records and Indexes but not in the collaborative family trees.

Geneanet ranks #6 (Geneanet was ranked #7 last year).

And Geneanet ranks #3 in the Top 10 Free Genealogy Websites of 2015.
