To upload your GEDCOM file on GeneaNet, you must first identify yourself from the HomePage with your ID and your Pasword.
Then, go to "My family tree online" and follow the instructions.

Go to your panel board, then "Your family tree online" and check that the option "Display my family tree adress in my contact page" is on "Yes".

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change your geneanet ID which, I presume, is what you call "the name of my database".
However, you can create a new GeneaNet account with the ID you want. Then, upload your data on this account and delete the former one.

I deleted my tree because too much personal information of the living was shown.
I deleted my username account.

BUT................

Searching my surname, all my names in MY TREE still show,
and all the personal information that I DIDN'T want to be public to see is still showing.
